P∙A was asked to redesign the office of Olam in the Groothandelsgebouw in Rotterdam, transforming 500m2 of office space for the agri-food giant that operates in more than 60 countries. P∙A strongly believes in involving client and end-users in the design process, which is why we have recently organised workshops with the team of OLAM to provide input for the design process in the coming month. P∙A adds another piece to our series of farmstead transformations; recently, a preliminary design was completed for the transformation of the home of two of PA's well-known clients. The design turns forced foundation repairs into a positive, adding a basement with many luxurious functions for the dwelling; a welness area including sauna and turkish steam bath, an entertainment room and a gym/yoga space with sunlit and green patio.


The design also uses the transformation as an opportunity to upgrade the rest of the villa through smart reconfigurations and small interventions in the garden, weaving everything together.

Ten years ago P∙A succesfully completed a project in foresty surroundings for Stayokay, the Dutch hostel giant. A decade later we have been asked to produce a master plan to fit tiny houses on the tree-filled land. Respecting the existing trees and nature, a flock of tiny houses is placed on the surrounding land of Stayokay Soest.

The masterplan weaves together the tiny houses with the main hostel through a series of small but smart landscape interventions, future-proofing the compound with an upgrade in sustainability by installing a collection of solar panels on the roof.
